Prof. Dr Syed Aljunid is currently the Founding Professor and Chair of Health Policy and Management, Faculty of Public Health, Kuwait University. He was former Professor of Health Economics and Senior Research Fellow United Nations University-International Institute for Global Health. Prior to this he served as a Senior Consultant in Public Health Medicine and Head of Department of Community Health, Faculty of Medicine, National University of Malaysia (UKM). He obtained his MD from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Master of Science in Public Health from National University of Singapore and PhD in Health Economics and Financing Programme, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He is the founder of International Centre for Casemix and Clinical Coding of UKM (ITCC-UKM). His work on casemix system in UNU-IIGH and ITCC-UKM covers research and capacity building programmes in Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Mongolia, Vietnam, China, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Sudan, Nepal, Uruguay, Iran, Chile, Kenya and Ghana. He is the developer of international casemix grouper UNU-CBGs as well as Clinical Cost Modelling Software (CCM Version 2.0). Currently, he serves as the co-chair of Morbidity Technical Advisory Group of ICD-11 Revision of World Health Organisation-Family of International Classification. He is actively involves in teaching public health medicine, health economics and health management courses in MPH, MBA and PhD programmes jointly run by UNU-IIGH and its partner universities in Malaysia, Nepal, Yemen, United Arab Emirates and Sudan. He served as consultant and adviser to a number of international agencies including International Atomic Energy Agency, World Health Organisations, GTZ, AUSAID, UN-AIDS, UNDP, UNICEF, GAVI, Asian Development Bank and the World Bank in various international projects. He is the Past-President of the Public Health Medicine Specialists’ Association of Malaysia and Founding President of Malaysian Health Economics Association (MY-HEA) and Malaysian Society of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcome Research (MY-ISPOR).

Prof. Dr. Kamal Kant Dwivedi is presently the Vice Chancellor of ITM University, Gwalior. He is also the President of Global Academy of Doctorates.He is a Scientist, Researcher, Teacher, Educator, Administrator, Diplomat and Science Communicator. For over 42 years he served in India and abroad in different capacities. Previously, Prof. Dwivedi served as the Vice-Chancellor, Arunachal University, Vice Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University, Head of Division, Adviser, and Director in the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, Counsellor (Science, Technology, Health and Education) at theEmbassy of India, Washington DC, Visiting Professor/Scientist, University of Giessen, University of Marburg and Hahn-Meitner Institute, Berlin, Germany and Faculty member at North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong. During his tenure as Vice-Chancellor of Arunachal University, now a Central University renamed as Rajiv Gandhi University, Prof. Dwivedi steered that University to become a ‘University with Potential for Excellence’ the highest UGC recognition.
Prof. Dwivedi has significantly contributed to enhancing scientific understanding by participating in over four hundred scientific conferences, symposia and seminars, by chairing technical sessions and delivering plenary and invited talks. His area of specialization covers – Interaction of heavy ions with matter, Studies on fusion-fission and particle evaporation in 4-geometry, Development of computer codes for range and energy loss, Heavy ion induced creation of Buckminsterfullerene in graphite, Radiation induced modification of polymers, Use of food animals as indicators of air-pollution, Radon monitoring for Radioprotection and for earthquake prediction, Assessment of breathing level air quality in urban environment.
Prof. Dwivedi has been heading a number of National and International professional and scientific organizations as their President, Chairman, Fellow or Member. From 2000-2002, Prof. Dwivedi held the prestigious position of the President of International Nuclear Track Society representing more than 40 countries. He is recipient of 10 different national and international fellowships and “India 2000 Millennium Award (1999)”. Prof. Dwivedi is elected as a Fellow of the Indian Chemical Society (FICS), and also a Fellow of the International Academy of Physical Sciences (FIAPS) since 2010. He held a position of President of Chemical Sciences for the 100th Indian Science Congress organized in January 2013 in Kolkata.
He obtained his Ph.D. in 1977 from I.I.T. Kanpur and M.Sc. in 1972 from Lucknow University. He has specialized in the fields of Chemical, Nuclear and Environmental Science, Science and Technology Cooperation, Administration and Communication. Prof. Dwivedi pursued research in truly multi-disciplinary areas and published about 200 research papers in refereed journals in the area of Chemical, Environmental, Nuclear and Material Sciences. Some of Prof. Dwivedi’s research work has been prominently cited in Science and Engineering text books published by leading international publishers.

He worked as a nurse trainer from 1983-1986 and also worked as a staff nurse from 1986-1989. He finished his B.Sc in 1991. He is a member of HE Academy. Formerly, he was Professor and Principal of School of Nursing Science and Research, Sharda University, Greater Noida, Jaipur Nursing College, Maharaj Vinayak Global University, Jaipur, Maharishi Markandeshwar Institute of Nursing, MMU, Mullana, Ambala and Professor & Vice Principal, at JSS college of Nursing Mysore.
He is a guide for Ph.D scholars under National consortium for Ph.D in Nursing under INC and RGUHS, Bangalore. He got so many awards among them the recent one is Award for “contribution to the field of Nursing” during the International conference on Multidisciplinary Health care AIIMS 2014, He was Editorial committee member of RGUHS Journal of Nursing, published by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. The first Malaysian Senior Nurse to receive the fellowship to attend the “Nursing Global Leadership Institute (GNLI) in Geneva, Switzerland under the Burdett Trust on 11th September 2010. She was also former Principal of the Govt. College of Nursing, Victoria Hospital Campus, Fort, Bangalore, former dean and principal of Smt. Nagrathnamma College of Nursing, Bangalore and Former Principal and Professor of JSS College of Nursing, Mysore for 10 years. Besides this she had a respectable post in many prestigious institutions.
Dr. Bharti has guided 42 Post Graduate Research Projects and 20 Under Graduate Research Projects. She is nominated Chairman, Board of Studies - UG Nursing, RGUHS, Bangalore since August 2015, Member of Academic Council & Faculty of Nursing, RGUHS since August 2015. She was Member of MPC ( Mal-practice committee) RGUHS from 2014 to 2016 and also held other prestigious offices. She holds the life membership of professional bodies in many organizations like, T.N.A.I., India. , N.R.S.I., India, Indian Association of Critical Care Nursing (IACCN), India etc. She got many awards in her carrier such as Certificate of Honour Presented by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bangalore in 2010 and 1st prize for paper presented on “Health Promotion in Hospitals Attitude and Practices of Nurses and other Health Care Professionals” at International Conference on Health Sciences, conducted by JSS Health Institutions under the auspicious of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, from 25th to 26th February 2005 and got 1st Prize for the same. Dr Amit Krishna De completed his M.Sc in Biochemistry and Ph.D from Calcutta University. His area of specialisation is Biochemical Pharmacology and Nutritional Toxicology . He has done extensive work on Indian spices for last 15 years , particularly on biochemical and pharmacological actions of chilli. He has won several awards for his work on chilli which includes Kamal Satbir Young Scientist Award from Indian Council of Medical Research, S R Dasgupta Award from Indian Pharmacological Society, S S Rastogi Award and R B Singh Felicitation Award and Prof M Mori Felicitation Award from International College of Nutrition , Indu Vasudevan Award from Indian Association of Biomedical Chemists and APSI Gold Medal from Academy of Plant Sciences (India ). He has also received the Gopal Chandra Bhattacharyya Award for Popularisation of Science from Science Association of Bengal and National Award for Science Communication from Indian Writers Association in 2006, Archana Gold Medal from Academy of Environmental Biology, Lucknow in 1998 and Gold Medal from Salgare Foundation in 2010 and Science Councilor Medal 2012 , Ramendra Sundar Sinha Memorial Oration from Pysiological Society of India, Kolkata, 2014 ;and Scientist of the Year Award 2017 from International Benevolent Research Foundation, Kolkata and Confederation of Indian Universities, New Delhi.
Dr De is involved in teaching as Hony lecturer in several Undergraduate Colleges and University. He is at present Executive Secretary of Indian Science Congress Association at Kolkata (under Department of Science & Technology, Govt of India). He is also Fellow of National Environmental Science Academy, Academy of Environmental Biology, International College of Nutrition and Indian Association of Biological Scientists and Academy of Plant Sciences, West Bengal Academy of Sciences, Kolkata and member of National Academy of Sciences, Allahabad.
Dr De has more than fifty research publications in journals of International repute and is author of several books including Chilli, Medicinal Values of Indian Spices, Trace Elements in Health and Diseases, Tobacco & Smoking, Selected Questions and Answers in Biochemistry, etc. He has also edited some books like Sustianable Development and Environment, Recent Trends in Spices & Medicinal Plant Research, Environment & Man, Capsicum, Spices Elexir of life etc. He has also delivered lectures on different aspects of “Environmental Pollution ‘spices” in different Institutions/ Organisations/ Universities all over the world. His recent books are “Environmental Science : An Easy Approach” and “Perspectives in Environmental Health” written for students of Environmental Sciences.
For the last 20 years , Dr Amit Krishna De has been trying to present the different aspects of scientific developments to the common people through various medium like (i) writing articles, features, and books,(ii) arranging seminars /workshops, (iii) delivering radio/doordarshan talks(iv) writing and staging dramas and (v)writing and composing songs. Not only in his official capacity as Executive Secretary, Indian Science Congress Association but also in his personal capacity , he is trying to promote scientific temper among the mass throughout India through science popularization programme.

Prof. Dr. Wickneswari Ratnam

Prof Wickneswari Ratnam is a Professor at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), with 30 years of experience in plant genetics and biotechnology. She serves as Head of University, Industry and Community Partnerships at the Faculty of Science and Technology, as well as Chair of Institutional Biosafety Committee at UKM. She is a fellow of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia since 2012.
Her research interests are on genetic diversity and inheritance of traits and genes. She has led nationally funded projects on plant genetic diversity, molecular biology of flowering in rattans and functional genomics of wood formation in Acacia hybrid. She has also led national and international research projects on QTL mapping in rice and the genetic improvement of biotic and abiotic stress in rice. She served on national panels, including the Panel for Evaluation and Monitoring of Projects for the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation and the Ministry of Agriculture since 2008. She was also among the Consultation on Agriculture Biotechnology for Promoting Food Security in Developing Countries delegates.
Prof Wickneswari is the Chief Editor of Malaysia Applied Biology and an Associate Editor of Tree Genetics and Genomes and of Forest Genetics. She is a life member of the Malaysian Society for Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (MSMBB), the Genetics Society of Malaysia, and the Malaysian Society for Applied Biology.
Her publications include book and book chapters (6), journal papers (110) and proceedings (>100) with a H-index of 15 and total citation of 952. She has 6 IPs on New Plant Varieties of rice and one patent pending on lignin gene. Her postgraduate supervision includes 7 postdoc (6 completed), 28 PhD (20 completed) and 33 MSc (31 completed).

Dr. Norihan Mohd Saleh received her PhD from University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. She then worked at Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Science as Lecturer and subsequently served as Associate Professor and Head, Department of Cell & Molecular Biology, Faculty of Biotechnology & Biomolecular Sciences , Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM); prior to her secondment to Agro-Biotechnology Institute (ABI), National Institutes of Biotechnology (NIBM), under the Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation (MoSTI) (2010 -present). Currently, she is a Research Director at ABI, NIBM. Dr. Norihan’s area of expertise is Plant Biotechnology with a specialization in Tissue Culture, Cell & Molecular Biology and Natural Product. She also has good international working experience, where she had worked as a scientist on Bayer AG project (Plant Microtubule Associated Protein) at Royal Holloway University of London, UK; and Plant-based vaccine research at Univ. of Thomas Jefferson, Philadelphia, USA. As a researcher, she has conducted and managed many research activities on plants, mushrooms and macro algae, and has published many papers and filed several patents under her name. In addition, she has also supervised more than 30 PhD and Master Graduates. Dr. Norihan has also served as committee members and chaired several of RD&C activities under Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation (MoSTI) and Ministry of Agriculture (MoA); particularly with regards to research funding and monitoring of Plant Biotechnology RD&C programmes, such as IGS, Flagship program, Science fund and Techno fund; and Knowledge Transfer Programme (KTP) under Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE). She is also one of the key persons involved in the drafting of Biosafety regulation, where she chaired the taskforce involved in the development of guidelines for Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC), under Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (NRE). She has also previously served as a Committee Member of IBC for UPM and IBC chair at ABI. At present she is a member of a taskforce for compliance assessment under GMAC (Genetically Modified Advisory Council).

Dr Lim’s research interest is : Development of diagnostic assays for intestinal and extraintestinal amoebiasis; Diagnosis, prevention and control of soil-transmitted helminthiases, lymphatic filariasis, toxoplasmosis, intestinal and zoonotic parasitic diseases
Presently he is working on several projects namely, Development of improved serological assay for diagnosis of ameobiasis, Transmission of human intestinal parasites by cockroaches and houseflies and Screening of intestinal zoonotic parasites in animal farms.

Prof. Dr. Niranjan Nayak

Dr. Nayak has 42 years professional experience from these 29 years he served as a teacher. During his professional career he holds many prestigious post such as Professor of Microbiology-Manipal College of Medical Science Pokhara Nepal, Professor and Head, Department of Microbiology, Santosh Medical College and Santosh University, Ghaziabad, India, Professor of Microbiology at AIIMS and so on.
Dr. Nayak was awarded with Bronze Medal for the 2nd Best Research Work at P.G.I.M.E.R., Chandigarh, India in the year 1986 and was also awarded with Silver Medal for securing the highest mark in the M.D. Examination at P.G.I.M.E.R. Chandigarh, India in the year 1987.
Dr. Niranjan Nayak has more than 70 publications in national or international journals. He also has more than 40 publications in the form of abstracts. He served as principal investigator in many research projects such as “Slime production as a marker virulence in Staphylococcus epidermides isolated from bacterial keratitis” – AIIMS, Standardization of Antifungal susceptibility testing for filamentous fungi and characterization of drug sensitive and drug resistant fungal isolates in mycotic keratitis” ICMR grant Feb 2005 – Jan. 2007. He also worked as principal investigator in projects “Implications of microbial biofilms in chronic rhonosinusitis and orbital cellulitis” AIIMS grant and so on. He was elected President of SIHAM in the SIHAM congress held at Coimbatore from 10-12 January 2014. He is also a life time member of IAMM, IAPM, AIOS, API, and other prestigious organizations.

He has research experience in different path such as GJB2 in non-syndromic inherited deafness, Oral mucosal SCC: co-relation with HPV infection,etc.
Dr. Raychowdhury is also a life time member of so many organizations such as Skull Base Surgery Society of India Faculty of Surgical Trainers, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and some other institutions.
